Sony has engineered an interesting teaser for its next Xperia smartphone ? which we believe to be the Sony Xperia GX ? on Facebook: the more people ?Like? the post, the faster the announcement will be made.
At the time of writing, the post shows nine days and 15 hours until the announcement (which is one day closer than the original planned date).
It?s an international Facebook page (or rather app), which suggests the new Xperia will be a worldwide launch. Our money is on it being an international version of the Sony Xperia GX, a model so far reserved for the Japanese market. The Android 4.0 powered Xperia GX rocks a 720p 4.6-inch screen, 13-megapixel camera and 1.5GHz processor ? so it?s up there with the most powerful blowers around.
We?d certainly welcome a UK version. And it looks like we won?t have to wait too long to find out if this is it.
