Chinese tourists make for the largest increase, but Scandinavians are not far behind. In the first six months of 2011 ten million tourists came to Thailand. 1,12 million of those tourists came from China, which was an increase by 28 percent compared to the first six months of 2011. The exact number of Scandinavian visiting Thailand in the first six months of 2012 has not been released, but the increase in percentage has. Those numbers show that Norway sent 17,5 percent more tourist to Thailand in the first six months of 2011, Sweden 16.4 and Denmark 14,8. | |
